The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) hereby opens this Call for Applications for one Research Grant (BI), within the scope of the Research Project 'WellBEH | Well-Balanced Energy Housing: Reasoning Method towards interventions crossing Heritage, Efficiency and Comfort', funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through national funds, under the reference 2023.11189.PEX ongoing at FAUP.
The main tasks to be carried out as part of the scholarship will be:
⦁ Bibliographic and archival research;
⦁ Redrawing of archival material using digital tools;
⦁ Development of a BIM model;
⦁ In-depth study, contextualization, and analysis of projects and works;
⦁ Support in the elaboration of ongoing publications;
⦁ Support for funding applications.

Applicants may hold a Master's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering and be enrolled in a PhD programme in Architecture or Civil Engineering, or in a course that does not lead to an academic degree as part of the educational project of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or more R&D units. to be duly proven at the time of recruiting.
The work will be carried out at FAUP or at other locations necessary to fulfil the work plan, under the scientific supervision of Luciana Rocha, Assistant Researcher at FAUP.
The grant will last for twelve months.
