During the Congress was presented the paper "O reconhecimento do património Moderno em habitação plurifamiliar: o Campo do Luso como base para um método de reflexão", by Luciana Rocha (CEAU-FAUP), Ana Tostões (CiTUA-IST), Rui Póvoas (CEAU-FAUP), Marco Reschetti (FAUP).
This article aims to reflect on the heritage recognition of multi-family housing buildings and their role in defining specific intervention strategies for architectural preservation. Within the scope of the research project WellBEH (FCT, 2023.11189.PEX), this work integrates the first phase of the development of an interdisciplinary reflection method, oriented toward the articulated elaboration of a diagnosis and an intervention plan based on balancing the preservation of housing heritage with contemporary demands for energy efficiency and comfort.
The heritage recognition of Campo do Luso emerges as an essential step in defining intervention strategies. As a continuation of this study, the ReCARe method is proposed as an operative tool, combining diagnosis and action planning grounded in an articulated reasoning about the built environment as a basis for decision-making.
